Business communication is a communication
that promotes a product, service, or organization; relays information within a
business; or functions as an official statement from a company. Television advertising in
the media is the message of communication that aims to introduce and promote products or services. The next goal is to motivate
and persuade the
viewer or audience
to find, buy
and become regulars. On the other hand, advertising is one of the communication tools for its customers. One of examples is in Oreo ad that has a unique
slogan which is ‘Diputar, Dijilat,
Dicelupin’.
This slogan was popular when the
artist of the ad exemplifies how fun and delicious
way to enjoy Oreo. In that Oreo’s slogan
and ad there is a communication where the consumer receives the recommendation/suggestion of the ad by doing the same thing as the
slogan said: twist, lick, and dunk. I personally have fond memories of
growing up with Oreo cookies and its slogan still success in persuading me. This is what business communications are called.
